The consultation will last 40mins:

• Detailed Health Questionnaire relating to symptoms of the menopause
• Height & weight to check body mass index (BMI)
• Resting pulse & Blood Pressure
• Full body examination; including breast examination
• A vaginal / pelvic examination assessing the womb, ovaries and pelvic floor muscles
• A cervical smear
• A detailed ultrasound of the womb and ovaries
• A blood test for ovarian cancer screening
• Management plan: detailed discussion on what treatment plan is best for you. Including life style changes, health & diet, HRT or alternative therapies.
